Alongside our "core business" of designing, we have drawn on our multidisciplinary expertise to carry out design verification and checking services for validation purposes. These involve reviewing design documentation prepared by third parties, with the aim of reducing the risk of identifying documentation gaps or inconsistencies "too late", during the construction phase. This is a difficult task, not least from the perspective of personal relationships, but it has also enabled us to develop an even greater critical eye when carrying out our standard internal checks.
On behalf of numerous public authorities, we have reviewed several dozen projects, with a total value of approximately €200 million. We highlight a few significant examples here. We do not publish further details as the design documents examined are the confidential intellectual property of third parties.
